Salvage yard victim from Fall River

The man crushed to death beneath a car at a salvage yard last week was identified as a 43-year-old Fall River man. Christiano Oliveira, 43, of Fall River, died when the car he was trying to remove parts from fell on him. He died despite a valiant effort by workers who lifted the vehicle off him. He was taken to Brockton Hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was beneath a Lincoln Town Car behind Jack’s Used Auto Parts on North Cary Street when the accident occurred Friday afternoon.
