Ordinance enforcement activity decreased 20 percent in October from the previous month, according to the latest Albertville statistics.
Officer Kevin Boyer reported 64 contacts for the month, 16 fewer than September.
Boyer also reported 48 written warnings, 18 less than September.
Fifty-eight of the contacts complied and six failed to comply.
The excuses for noncompliance included owners involved in an eviction process and a foreclosure.
Weeds and high grass remain the most common problems with 51 weed and 45 grass violations.
Other problems included 29 warnings for junk, 13 for furniture, 12 for inoperable vehicles, 11 for scrap, five for appliances, four for tires and one for a television.
